Ataer Mining, as a company that is aware of its responsibilities to people and the environment, carries out continuous improvement and development studies on environment, occupational health and safety, from raw material quarries to pelletizing unit.
Efforts are underway to raise awareness on the concepts such as to use energy and natural resources efficiently, to reduce pollution by keeping negative environmental factors such as dust-gas emissions, solid-hazardous wastes, noise generated as a result of operating activities under control, to minimize work accidents and occupational diseases, to protect personnel and society on environment, occupational health and safety. In this context, “Zero Waste” certificate was obtained by our Company. It is aimed to prevent waste, to use resources more efficiently, to prevent or minimize waste generation by reviewing the causes of waste generation, and to collect and recycle waste separately at the source in case of occurrence.
