History

1936

A report was prepared on the discovery of magnetite deposits in Hasançelebi iron field.

1969-1975

A pre-feasibility report was prepared by MTE (Mining Technical Exploration) after 30 thousand meters of drilling works and grade and reserve determination.

1980

In order to determine the reserve, a total of 46,321 meters of drilling was carried out in 171 different locations until the end of 1980. 5 exploration galleries were opened.

2004

Within the scope of privatization, the mine site was handed over from the Turkish Iron and Steel Enterprises to Erdemir Mining Ind. and Tr. Inc.

2006

After privatization, it was brought under the roof of OYAK.

2010

The ore and drilling samples were sent to the University of Minnesota Duluth Laboratory. Positive results were obtained as a result of the test.

2012

The expropriation process has begun.

2018

Some of the ore in Hasançelebi field was subjected to pre-enrichment and moved to Divriği, and pellet production was started at Ermaden facilities.

2019

It was decided to continue its activities as Ataer Mining under the umbrella of OYAK.

2020

Within the scope of Anadolu Project, work has been started for the establishment of the Hasançelebi Iron Ore Enrichment and Pelletizing Facility.
